Animal Magnetism #44: Zelda Zebra

Zelda Zebra is a pony-size native of the African plains. She lives in a family unit with a stallion, several other mares and all their offspring (foals). Family units then form herds, with as many as 10,000 zebras who graze on grass to tough for other animals and take turns drinking at the water holes. Whenever zebras sleep, at least one adult stays awake as a sentinel to watch for lions, hyenas, cheetahs and other predators. Size: 4 x 4 3/4 inches, excluding tail.
