Katie Kangaroo doesn't need a bassinet for her baby. Joey, as all baby kangaroos are called, is born about the size of a lima bean and lives in his mother's pouch for about six months after birth. Native to Australia and nearby islands, kangaroos range in size from 7 feet and 200 pounds to wallabies, who are about the size of a rabbit. Katie can leap 25 feet in a single hop.
