The Beat Goes On

Working with Kris over this past year has been a fantastic experience. I will miss working directly with her, although I'm happy to say we'll still be working in the same office.So many times I've started to ask her where something is and before I could finish the sentence she either handed it to me or pointed out its location. She often knew what I needed before I did and made sure it was in place when I needed it. She has been a tremendous help to me in every way with the blog and behind-the-scenes projects on the Web and in our print publications. Thanks for everything, Kris! I wish you the best of luck with the new direction the publishing world is taking you.
With Kris moving on to other projects, you will see some new faces joining me here in the blog. Starting next week, Ann White, pattern book editor, and Judy Crow, hardcover book editor, will be co-writing the blog with me. So, be sure to check back then and get to know these terrific ladies!
