Traveling with Crochet

Posted on May. 31, 2006 by Brenda Stratton

I travel quite a lot in the summer--some for work and some for pleasure. No matter where I'm going, I always take along a small crochet project. If I fly, I take along wooden or plastic crochet hooks. The rules change from airline to airline regarding what crochet tools are allowed onboard an aircraft, and I wouldn't want to have to leave my favorite aluminum and steel crochet hooks at airport check-in!

If you're flying this summer, be sure to check with your carrier to see what crochet (or knit) tools are allowed onboard.
