The Weekend

Ahhh, the weekend is upon us. I have great plans for my weekend: working on "The Shrug," Spring Cleaning, and planting. I can't say gardening, because I live in a second floor apartment and all I can claim for a patio is a dinky little balcony, but I have great plans for it! I bought Lilly of the Valley and Lavender to plant, plus I have Paperwhites and Hyacinths already blooming inside with 3 pots of a waxy-leafed green plant that doesn't bloom but looks pretty good hanging out on an accent table. I'm thinking about adding some ivy to the mix, putting most of it out on the balcony, and then finding a cute bistro table and two chairs to set out there, too.I'm also planning to stop in at a place I used to work and see a few friends--and, since it's a party store, pick up a few things for the bridal shower my mom and I are throwing for my soon-to-be sister-in-law.
The real trick is to see how much of that list I actually get done!
