Officially Christmastime

Now that this is the last day of November, I feel I can officially declare that it's Christmastime--all of the holiday specials are starting to run on television, and I don't get so irritated when Christmas songs play on the radio (when I heard Christmas songs the first full week of November, I have to admit I changed the channel quickly with a roll of my eyes. There is such a thing a rushing the season). I've got my Christmas tree up and my apartment is decorated--I did that on Monday--and the frantic rush to wrap presents, bake goodies and scrub every inch of my place to make it gleam for company has begun. I always get that sympathetic feeling for Cinderella about this time every year …
