Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2007! I can't believe how fast 2006 flew by. Today, I'm home with my family, where we're recovering from last night and preparing a fantastic meal. As I have a very German heritage, we're having a lot of traditional German foods that have been passed down from generation to generation, like how we always eat pork and mashed potatoes with sauerkraut for good luck in the coming year. 

I've been thinking long and hard about it but I don't know what my resolutions will be for the year, yet. Actually, I don't know why I even make resolutions, since I tend to break them within 24 hours. I've even resolved to keep my resolutions, and it didn't turn out any better. Oh well.

I can tell you a few of my goals for the year, though: to continue learning to crochet, to finish the crochet projects I start, to learn something new every day, to read and listen to music more, to watch television less, to keep in closer contact with my friends and to be more proactive in life. It’s not a huge list, but I think it’s a good one for me.
